EIB Grenelle Primary School

In the heart of the 7th arrondissement, just minutes away from Les Invalides, EIB Grenelle private school opened its doors in September 2021. Welcoming students from nursery up to Year 6 (Maternelle to CM2) to begin with, the bilingual school will follow the programmes of the Ministry of National Education while offering a fully bilingual teaching programme, with 50% of classes in English and 50% in French.

EIB Etoile Bilingual High School

Located near the Place de l’Etoile and Porte Maillot at the heart of the 17th arrondissement in Paris, our bilingual, secular, high school (known in French as a lycée) EIB Etoile welcomes 400 students from more than 40 different nationalities from Year 11 to Year 13 (2nde to terminale).

A benchmark for bilingual education in Paris

Languages are central to the EIB teaching method. As well as extensive English tuition, students can take courses in Spanish, Italian, German, Russian and Chinese. In addition, EIB Etoile offers preparatory courses for international exams such as SAT, TOEFL, IELTS, Cervantes, Dante and Goethe. At EIB Etoile, 25% of the school day is spent in English. Finally, since September 2023, we offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (more information at the bottom of the page).

Our educational mission

The bilingual high school in Paris operates under contract with the state and follows the French National Curriculum. These lessons are enhanced by classes in English that take up to 25% of the school timetable. We offer a wide variety of Baccalaureate specialisms.

In addition, our students are offered further options of excellence that underline the international vocation of EIB. We teach the International French Baccalaureat (BFI) (ex Option Internationale du Baccalauréat (OIB), British section. On this track students study English literature, history and geography in English. This course helps to develop strong linguistic and cultural skills, and students from our international bilingual school achieve excellent results at the BFI every year.

EIB Étoile: bilingual high school in Paris

Students can also choose the European Mention in the Baccalaureate and study history and geography in English.

IB Diploma Programme (IBDP)

Since September 2023, EIB Etoile international high school offers the bilingual French-English International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).

The IBDP section and all of the Lycée EIB Etoile's Year 11 classes are located at 52 rue de Londres in the 8th district of Paris.
