In the heart of the 7th arrondissement, just minutes away from Les Invalides, EIB Grenelle private school opened its doors in September 2021. Welcoming students from nursery up to Year 6 (Maternelle to CM2) to begin with, the bilingual school will follow the programmes of the Ministry of National Education while offering a fully bilingual teaching programme, with 50% of classes in English and 50% in French.

Extra Curricular

We realise there is a life after classes! EIB Etoile bilingual high school in Paris offers a dynamic and diverse programme of artistic, cultural and sports activities which enrich school life, enable your child to fulfil their potential, and optimize their academic record.

Sports Association

The sports association offers 3 activities to high school students: swimming, futsal and volleyball.

SWIMMING:

Training takes place on Mondays from 6.30pm to 7.30pm at the Henry de Montherlant swimming pool. Competitions when scheduled are held on Wednesday afternoons.

FUTSAL:

Training and matches on Saturday morning from 10am to 12pm at the Fond des Princes gym. Tournaments are organised at the end of each term. Futsal is played indoors and is similar to Five-a-Side football.

VOLLEYBALL:

Training and matches on Saturday morning from 10am to 12pm at the Leon Biancotto Gymnasium.

Workshops and Clubs

A Student Commission, supervised by the private school teaching staff, organises clubs that explore the many interests of our students. These include literary review club and the EIB literary prize, library club, a benefit concert, charity fundraisers, end-of-year ball, annual yearbook, and more.

Among the most popular clubs is the Debate Club that brings together around 50 students from all classes for weekly debates in English on current issues. This activity serves as preparation for the annual participation in the HMCE (Harvard Model Congress Europe). This year, students from EIB private bilingual high school will also participate in the Yale Model Government Europe in Budapest. Students also take part in the Globeducate Model United Nations.

Scientific innovation is a growing area of interest at the school, and our students are able to participate in contests in partnership with withe National Centre for Space Studies, the French National Centre for Scientific Research and the Ecole Normale Supérieure. We are an “Ecolycée”, bringing an environmental awareness to all our activities.

Help with homework

We offer supervised studies after school, with in-depth lessons and preparation for CPGE (preparatory classes to grandes écoles), workshop classes, preparation for language and SAT certificates, topical conferences, and preparation for the BIA (aeronautical initiation certificate).
