Welcome to EIB Monceau

EIB Monceau School is fortunate to be located in a park with trees over a hundred years old, where flowers and large lawns delight our students during their breaks.

With over 900 pupils, our school welcomes children from the age of 3 and takes them through to the end of primary school. As a state-contracted school, we follow the official state curriculum, using rigorous and precise teaching methods taught by education professionals.

One of our characteristics is the learning of languages. English is taught from the age of 3 by native teachers. We then offer Chinese as an option in Year 4 (CE2) and Spanish in Year 5 (CM1).

Our commitment to languages is a key factor in our success and allows our pupils to communicate together, in a spirit of respect and cultural diversity.

Their daily lives are spent at a school that is open to the world, with students from more than 40 nationalities.

Marie Hortense Zeller, Director of EIB Monceau Primary school

Our pupils can also develop their talents through a cultural and artistic programme which both increases their knowledge and allows them to express their creativity. Music is taught in English and musical performances are worked on throughout the year.

Trips (both in France and abroad) and excursions to museums and theatres contribute to the confidence of our students and to the stimulation of their interests. In addition, our comprehensive teaching of computer science enables them to master the latest digital tools (computer, tablet...) which they have at their disposal at school so that they can approach the rest of their studies with a great deal of independence.

Fulfilment, caring approach, but also rigour and high standards, these are the values that we aim to develop with the pupils entrusted to our care. We are proud of their success and happy with the projects we carry out with them.

Running into school with a smile, a love for learning and seeing friends, that's what happens at EIB Monceau!

Our academic mission

We believe that each child deserves individual attention, and our small class sizes and specialised teachers mean that we can dedicate time to each child’s development. Our active learning approach combined with a truly international education gives students a strong intellectual structure.

Mastering the French language and learning about French culture is at the heart of our school private school mission. At the same time, we offer extensive English language tuition, plus the chance to study Spanish from the age of 8, giving our students a particular linguistic advantage once by the time they reach middle school.
