EIB Monceau English Wednesday Morning Programme
Registration for the 2024 – 2025 School year
Created in 2008, the EIB English Wednesday Morning Programmes are designed to permit our EIB students to further consolidate their English skills via three additional hours of English instruction weekly.
This programme is taught uniquely by our certified Native Speaker titular English teachers at EIB Monceau primary. Places are limited.
In the programme, each year group has a theme-based workshop, designed by our EIB Monceau primary English teachers with the Head of English, that is complementary to the standards of the scholastic cycle.
The global objectives are: to help the children improve their English oral fluency in cycles 1-2 (G/S-CE2), and their English reading and writing fluency in Cycle 3 (CM1/CM2).
The programme is designed to best accompany and enhance each student’s English scholastic skills throughout their years at EIB Monceau Primary and in view of the demands of their future EIB English curriculum in secondary school (collège).

This all-new programme will further consolidate the children’s oral English skills through the exciting theme of famous men and women who have impacted history. Each explorer, scientist, artist, and musician will be studied over a 2-3 week period and will have their own, dedicated chapter in a project book produced by each child. Pages will include some amazing facts, replicated photos, mini descriptions, postcards, maps and sketches and the children will complete a range of related 2D and 3D art activities.
Fees: 465 € per quarter
CE2 (9è): School of Magicians: The Musical!
Do you believe in magic? Our English speaking actors do! In this original musical comedy, singing, dancing and acting lessons will be combined with the creation of scenery, props and costumes for the students to gain confidence in using English in a real-life performance setting.
The final end-of-year show, held at a local theatre for the parents, will include an original script and 4 choreographed song and dance numbers. School of Magicians: The Musical is a wonderful welcoming ground for beginning or experienced performers.
