About EIB Trocadéro Bilingual School

Located in Paris 16, EIB Trocadéro is a private bilingual school that blends the excellence of the French National Curriculum with a focus on teamwork and hands-on learning, inspired by the finest Anglo-Saxon educational practices.

Our Key Objectives

  • Create a nurturing environment where students feel happy and motivated to learn and grow.
  • Support our students in achieving high academic standards.
  • Shape responsible, open-minded individuals who can communicate effectively and adapt to the challenges of the future.

STEAM

The EIB Trocadéro International Bilingual School will adopt an innovative approach based on STEAM education. This methodology combines Science, Technology, Robotics, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics to promote hands-on and interactive learning in the classroom.

The objectives of the STEAM approach are:

  • To give meaning to the knowledge shared in science and technology by connecting it to real-world applications.
  • To encourage students to apply the concepts learned through engaging, cross-disciplinary projects.
  • To introduce students to the fundamentals of coding and robotics, fostering their curiosity and creativity.

THE SINGAPORE METHOD

Mathematics will be taught using the Singapore method, which combines a concrete, pictorial, and abstract approach. Developed in Singapore, this method has consistently testified to its effectiveness, as evidenced by international education surveys like PISA, which compare student performance across countries.

Bilingual immersion from Nursery

The EIB Trocadéro bilingual nursery offers a distinctive advantage: true linguistic immersion during the early years, a critical period when language acquisition occurs most naturally.

To support our ambitious educational vision of fully bilingual instruction, the EIB Trocadéro international school provides two additional hours of teaching per week compared to standard state schools.

A Personalized Approach Thanks to Small Class Sizes

Our small class sizes enable us to provide individualized attention to each student, promoting personalized learning and the optimal development of their potential.

At EIB Trocadéro, every child is guided on their journey to becoming a confident, bilingual, and well-rounded global citizen.

City-Centre Location

Situated in the heart of Paris' 16th arrondissement on Rue Decamps, near the Esplanade du Trocadéro and the Eiffel Tower, EIB Trocadéro bilingual school offers students a unique opportunity to study in proximity to some of the city’s most iconic landmarks.

This prime location enables students to enrich their learning experience with visits to exhibitions, museums, and key cultural sites, while gaining a deeper understanding of life in a historically rich capital city.

Shaping Global Citizens of Tomorrow

At EIB Trocadéro, education extends beyond the classroom. Through our partnership programmes, students learn the values of respect, understanding, and global responsibility.

  • UNESCO Associated School: As part of this global network, we share a commitment to fostering peace, cultural exchange, and mutual understanding.
  • Eco-Schools Programme: We collaborate with the world’s largest initiative for sustainable schools, inspiring students to engage with environmental challenges.
  • WWF Partnership: Our partnership with WWF allows us to involve students in special projects throughout the year, focusing on sustainability and the critical issues surrounding sustainable development.
