"The City of the Future": A Collective Project to Imagine an Ideal City
Spring Camp: April 20th to 24th, 2026
During the spring holidays, EIB de la Jonchère invites children aged 3 to 11 to imagine and build the city of their dreams, divided into two age-appropriate groups. Younger children (PS to CP) discover creativity and play through construction and imagination, while older students (CE1 to CM2) explore the city of the future by combining creativity with innovative technologies. This fun and collaborative camp encourages cooperation, self-expression, and inventiveness.
This camp is open to all children aged 3 to 11, whether or not they are enrolled at our school.

Hours: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM (optional extended care until 6:00 PM)

PS to CP – Your Dream City: Imagine, Build, Play!
Each day, children take on a new role: visionary urban planners, inspired architects, ingenious engineers, and even dreamer poets. Together, they imagine and build their ideal city out of LEGO, creating a unique world that reflects their ideas and talents.
Morning: Build, invent, dream
- Fun activities to explore different city‑related professions
- Designing neighbourhoods, monuments, bridges or green spaces using Lego
- Developing fine motor skills, spatial awareness, cooperation and creativity
- Poetic moments to describe life in their city and give soul to their creations
Afternoon: Move, play, create
- Group games and sports activities to burn energy and strengthen team spirit
- Creative workshops to make decorative elements or accessories to enrich their Lego city: trees, signs, characters, vehicles…
At the end of the workshop, the children unveil their ideal city: a colourful, lively collective project to which each child has contributed their own personal touch.
CE1 to CM2 – 3D Creative Workshop: The City of the Future
Over the course of a week, children dive into a creative world blending art, technology and imagination. They become 3D explorers and work together to imagine the city of the future through a large collective project.
Activities include: 3D printing, laser engraving, sticker creation, 3D cardboard modelling, virtual and augmented reality, creation of three‑dimensional objects and scenery... The children build a miniature futuristic city with buildings, parks and infrastructure, enhanced with virtual elements visible through a VR headset.
Work is organised in teams, with tasks adapted to each age group to encourage cooperation and creativity. At the end of the week, parents are invited to discover and explore the city imagined by the children.
