A comprehensive safeguarding framework for safe and well-supervised extracurricular activities

At EIB Paris, all extracurricular activities operate within a rigorous safeguarding framework, aligned with Globeducate group standards. The protection, safety, and well-being of every student are our highest priorities, and we are committed to providing an environment for learning and leisure that is safe, caring, and attentive.

All activities and holiday camps are supervised by school staff and/or carefully selected external providers, whether they work independently or through partner organisations formally contracted with the school. EIB Paris schools prioritise partners recognised for the professionalism, qualifications, and experience of their instructors. Each provider is given a clear and demanding framework for their role (including schedules, supervision arrangements, expected conduct in shared spaces, organisation of facilities, and attendance monitoring) and is required to sign an activities charter, which they commit to following. Strict supervision standards are implemented, and appropriate staff-to-student ratios are maintained to ensure students’ physical and emotional safety. School leadership teams and activity coordinators maintain continuous oversight throughout the year, with knowledge of all providers and close attention to the quality of their work, their adherence to the school framework, and the well-being of students.

In line with Globeducate’s commitment, staff receive training in the prevention and identification of vulnerability. Schools rely on clear and accessible child protection policies, as well as dedicated safeguarding leads in each school, trained to manage concerns and liaise with the appropriate authorities when necessary. This shared culture of vigilance, prevention, and open communication—embraced by staff, providers, and families alike—ensures a calm, structured, and deeply protective extracurricular environment for every child.
