Summer Camp 2023 - EIB de la Jonchère - An Olympic Preparation

Registration to EIB de La Jonchère Summer Camp 2023 is now open!

The summer vacations kick-off rang! As part of this, we are offering you a bilingual course in English and French at the EIB de La Jonchère School.

 

Theme of the Summer Camp: An Olympic Preparation.

This summer camp is open to all children from 3 to 11 years old (Nursery to Grade 5), open to students enrolled at EIB de La Jonchère and to extended community.

Dates :

From Monday, July 3rd to Friday, July 7th, from 9:30am to 4pm / 5:45pm (if afterday care option).

From Monday, July 10th to Thursday, July 13th, from 9:30am to 4pm / 5.45pm (if afterday care option).

Summer Camp Organization:

Children will be divided into age groups from Nursery to Kindergarten (3 to 6 years old) and Grade 1 to Grade 5 (7 to 11 years old).

In the program :

The children will participate in sports, cultural, technological, and recreational activities in a setting surrounded by the nature of our EIB de la Jonchère campus.

On the programme for pupils from Nursery to Grade 1:

"The Discovery of Sports through the 5 continents".

 

The children will participate in indoor and outdoor games and sports activities in the mornings followed by immersive language workshops in English. They will discover the relationship to sports that children of the same age and from other countries may have and the origins of some of them, for a complete immersion in this universe.

In the afternoons, we will invite the children to the stage where they will explore theater through playful exercises of body expressions, interpretations and improvisations in English.

They will create situations and sketches on the theme of Olympic preparation for athletes, which they will present at the end of the week.

On the programme for pupils from Grade 2 to Grade 5:

"The little Olympic rings”.

 

The mornings will be dedicated to sports activities organized around different sports practiced in the world in the image of the Olympic Games, to put into practice the values of solidarity and surpassing oneself brought by sports. Students will participate in Olympics on the last days of the week.

During the afternoons, students will learn to program and fly a drone. This will allow them to learn about algorithms, apprehend the different code languages and in particular Python and take up the challenges of precision and attention that the activity offers.

Practical information:

This camp is open to all students from 3 to 11 years old (Nursery to Grade 5), enrolled at EIB de La Jonchère and open to extended community.

  • Lunch and snacks are included.
  • Price: 550€ per week, 115€ per days. Payment by credit card required. Possibility to register from 1 to 5 days.
  • Transport is also available at an additional cost:
    • Transport from EIB Monceau or EIB Lamartine: 125€ per week.
    • Door-to-door transport upon request (Hauts-de-Seine and Yvelines): 185€ per week.
  • If you do not wish to take the transport, but would like to take advantage of the daycare option, it is available at a cost of 60€ per week.

Our Camp and our transportation service will rigorously follow the instructions and health measures recommended by the French government.
