In the heart of the 7th arrondissement, just minutes away from Les Invalides, EIB Grenelle private school opened its doors in September 2021. Welcoming students from nursery up to Year 6 (Maternelle to CM2) to begin with, the bilingual school will follow the programmes of the Ministry of National Education while offering a fully bilingual teaching programme, with 50% of classes in English and 50% in French.

Wednesday's activities

Organized across the campuses of EIB Monceau, EIB Trocadéro, EIB Grenelle, and EIB de La Jonchère, these programs offer students from Moyenne Section toCM2 a wide variety of fun, artistic, sporting, scientific, and language activities. Gardening and cooking, manga, theatre, hands-on science, sports... Each child can explore their passions, develop skills in French or English, and thrive in a caring and stimulating environment. Led by passionate professionals, these workshops encourage learning through practice, creativity, teamwork… and, of course, provide a fresh way to learn!

Designed for students who are not enrolled in our schools but wish to benefit from our expertise in language teaching, English workshops are offered at EIB Monceau and EIB de La Jonchère (where older children can take the Cambridge exams).

At EIB Monceau

English Time

This program offers students who are not enrolled at EIB Monceau the opportunity to benefit from the expertise and teaching skills of our teachers to learn English. Every Wednesday afternoon, for 1 hour and a half, children are guided by our native English-speaking teachers, allowing them to naturally develop their language skills while making new friends.

Happy Wednesday Club

The Happy Wednesday Club welcomes children from Moyenne Section to CM2. Every Wednesday afternoon on the Monceau campus, students take part in themed activities in a fun and stimulating environment. These workshops are part of a multicultural approach, encouraging children to express their creativity, develop logical thinking, laugh, and stay active.

Learn & Dream

This program is open to children from Moyenne Section to CM2, whether or not they are enrolled at EIB Monceau. Activities take place on Wednesday mornings at the Vigny campus. Children are grouped by age, and sessions are offered either in English or in French. All activities are designed to spark curiosity, support motor development, and encourage teamwork.

Afternoon for Little Ones

We are delighted to offer a fun and enriching experience to Kindergarten children every Wednesday afternoon. Afternoon for Little Ones is a specially designed program that nurtures their imagination, supports skill development, and promotes overall well-being.

Afternoon for Greatest

We are pleased to offer students from CP to CM2 a dynamic and stimulating Wednesday afternoon through “Afternoon for Greatest”. This dedicated time allows children to explore, experiment, and thrive through a variety of engaging workshops designed to spark curiosity, build independence, and foster teamwork.

Each week, students rotate through three exciting workshops:

Discovering Paris

Hélène Decker, a graduate of the École du Louvre, leads a 3-hour workshop titled “Discovering Paris”, inviting children to explore the city’s iconic monuments and the art of living throughout different historical periods.

Each session begins with a storytelling moment that introduces a monument and immerses the children in a specific era.

The program includes:

  • A storytime followed by a Q&A. Children then enhance a printed handout using masking tape in a personalized notebook (color documents provided).

  • A hands-on, creative art activity inspired by the featured monument.

  • Guided visits to the city.

Sports Wednesday

EIB de La Jonchère offers children an energetic afternoon focused on movement, play, and self-confidence. Throughout the year, a wide variety of sports activities - including football, basketball, athletics, and gymnastics - are available to suit every interest!

Led by a passionate PE teacher, children develop coordination, endurance, and team spirit in a dynamic yet nurturing environment. It’s the perfect weekly activity to stay active, build skills, and enjoy unforgettable moments of sport with friends.

English Workshops

Exclusively For students not enrolled in our school

This program offers students not enrolled at EIB de La Jonchère the opportunity to benefit from our expertise in English language teaching. Developed in partnership with our English department, it is designed to introduce beginners (from age 5) and strengthen learners (A1 level from age 7) in English, while fostering their cultural curiosity.

The approach is collaborative and interactive. The program is built around official preparation materials for the Cambridge English Qualifications. Additionally, exchanges with British pen pals will enrich the experience (A1 level).

Happy Wednesday

Led by our team, Happy Wednesdays give our students a fresh way to experience school, helping them develop their coordination and fine motor skills. In the familiar and welcoming school environment, children feel secure and supported by familiar adults. They deepen existing friendships and form new ones. The afternoon flows smoothly from quiet time to sports activities and creative crafts, much to the children’s delight.

French Wesnesday

These workshop afternoons allow students to learn by doing, while developing their artistic, scientific, and language skills. Thanks to engaging activities and a nurturing environment, they make natural progress in French.

In the Manga Workshops, students learn to draw characters, build a narrative world, and create their own comic books, all while exploring a range of artistic techniques.

The Fun Science Workshops offer hands-on opportunities to experiment, create, and invent through a variety of concrete scientific activities.

These workshops support each child’s overall development by nurturing imagination, self-expression, confidence, motor skills, and independence throughout the year.
