EIB students shine at the 2025 Globeducate Global Olympics

From 16th to 20th June 2025, a group of students from EIB de la Jonchère, EIB Monceau and ICS Paris proudly represented the Paris Globeducate schools' community at the Globeducate Global Olympics, hosted by Stonar School in the UK. 

This annual event brought together more than 200 pupils from 25 Globeducate schools across 8 countries. It was a truly international and inclusive celebration of sports, teamwork, and global friendships. For our students, it was not only an opportunity to compete, but also to connect and grow. 

Unlike traditional school sports tournaments, the Globeducate Global Olympics is built on collaboration across borders. Students were placed in mixed-nationality teams, encouraging them to work with students from different cultures. For EIB students, it was a unique chance to step out of their comfort zones, forge new friendships, and demonstrate the values we cherish. 

The programme was packed with a wide variety of events — from football, volleyball and swimming to tennis, athletics and ultimate frisbee. EIB students embraced the challenges with determination, giving their best. 

Beyond the sporting achievements, the Opening Ceremony at the University of Bath and the memorable Closing Ceremony at Stonar, complete with a student-written play and song, made the week even more unforgettable. 

We are immensely proud of our students from EIB de la Jonchère and EIB Monceau for their energy, spirit and sportsmanship throughout the week. A special thank you goes to the staff and organisers at Stonar School for hosting such an inspiring event.
