After eighteen years of service at EIB Monceau, Mrs Marie-Hortense Zeller has decided to retire and will leave her position as Head of School at the end of September 2024.
During her career at EIB Monceau, Mrs Zeller has made a significant contribution to the development of our school. Under her leadership, the school has continued to strengthen its commitment to quality bilingual education, providing students with an environment conducive to their intellectual and personal development. We salute her dedication and commitment, which have had a positive impact on the educational experience of thousands of students.
As her successor, we are delighted to welcome Mr Laurent Lesert as the new Head of School at EIB Monceau. Mr Lesert brings with him a wealth of experience in the field of international French education. For the past five years, he has headed the primary school of the Lycée français Jean Mermoz in Abidjan, which has over a thousand pupils. Previously, he held management positions in various French schools in Scotland, Cameroon and France.
His background includes solid expertise in the management of primary schools and a thorough understanding of the challenges of education in an international context. His commitment to pedagogy and cultural diversity makes him a natural choice to pursue EIB Monceau's objectives.
We are convinced that Mr Laurent Lesert will be able to ensure the continuity of the work accomplished and bring a new dynamic to our school in order to bring fulfilment and success to all our students. We welcome him and are sure that he will receive all the support he needs from our team to succeed in his new role.
