L'Arc de Triomphe, Wrapped, a temporary artwork for Paris, was on view for 16 days from Saturday, September 18 to Sunday, October 3, 2021. The project was realized in partnership with the Centre des Monuments Nationaux and in coordination with the City of Paris. It also received the support of the Centre Pompidou. The Arc de Triomphe was wrapped in 25,000 square meters of recyclable polypropylene fabric in silvery blue, and with 3,000 meters of red rope.
Students in college EIB Monceau visited the exhibition with the Arts Plastiques Teacher, M. De Bailliencourt, to see and learn the artist’s techniques and understand that Art is the fusion between Mathematics, Sciences, Art and Politic.
More, students of photo’s club went near the Arc de Triomphe to take a lot of pictures for the school and themselves. With M. Solente, their teacher, they learned to observe and to catch the light on the wrap.
So, they immortalized an artistic and short-lived moment in the Paris History.
