We recently celebrated the Carnival at EIB de La Jonchère !
During a whole week, children were able to participate in several activities related to the Carnival :
• Monday - Rio and Venise Carnivals : reading and videos about the Carnival traditional masks. Craft : create your own Carnival mask
• Tuesday - Harlequin : everything about the character and reading of a typescript. Craft : create your Harlequin
• Wednesday : What is Mardi Gras ? Cooking sessions : "Crêpes de Mardi Gras"
• Thursday : What does the jester symbolize ? Craft : Jester's Hat
• Friday :
- Cooking session : decorate the cake Harlequin way with icing and smarties
- Pinata reveal with candies and costumes show
All the children were very pleased with such an intense and festive program !
