Charlotte Caplan to succeed Emilie Chaffaud as Head of EIB Grenelle

At the start of the new school year, Charlotte Caplan, a teacher at EIB Grenelle since 2022, will succeed Emilie Chaffaud as Head of School. After three years at EIB Grenelle, Ms Chaffaud will take over as Head of EIB de la Jonchère, leaving the school in expert and familiar hands.

International expertise and in-depth knowledge of the school

Originally from Scotland and fluently bilingual in French and English, Charlotte Caplan brings over ten years of experience in education to EIB Grenelle. Since joining the school in 2022, she has distinguished herself through her dedication and determination. Her in-depth knowledge of the school, the teaching team, pupils and families will ensure a smooth transition. 

A commitment to the safety and well-being of pupils

In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Charlotte held the position of Safeguarding Lead at EIB Grenelle, where she committed to the safety and well-being pupils. Her role included implementing safeguarding policies and processes, ensuring a safe and caring environment for all students. This experience demonstrates her deep commitment to the school community and her dedication to the development of children.

English Curriculum Coordinator

Charlotte was also English Curriculum Coordinator, playing a key role in the development and implementation of the school's bilingual programme. Her expertise in this area will ensure that students at EIB Grenelle continue to benefit from a high quality education, in line with French and international standards.

A promising future under her leadership

With Charlotte Caplan at the helm of EIB Grenelle, the school is sure to maintain its family atmosphere and academic excellence. She will continue to promote STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading/Robotics, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) projects and encourage students to develop their critical thinking skills.
