EIB Grenelle offers a wide variety of extracurricular activities in the fields of art and culture, language, science and sports.
One activity that we would like to highlight here is a workshop called 'Je découvre Paris' (I discover Paris) which, as its name suggests, allows pupils to discover the "Secrets of the City of Light" each week.
Our workshop pupils come from EIB Monceau, EIB Lamartine and EIB Grenelle. Hélène Decker, our teacher, prepares them in class to discover a district of the city that they will visit later.
They first learn about the history of a monument or a district of the city and the art of living in various times. They are also invited to ask questions and then to make a personal and artistic creation to illustrate the theme of the activity. The last step is the visit of the city.
