On January 25th, EIB de la Jonchère hosted its very first Careers Fair, a not-to-be-missed event for pupils in CM2 and collège. Organised in collaboration with the Parents' Association (APEIB), the forum gave pupils the chance to explore a wide range of careers thanks to the commitment of parents who came to talk about their professions.
An immersion in the professional and international world
As an international bilingual school, EIB de la Jonchère offers its students unique exposure to prestigious career opportunities. Many of our parents work in international companies and hold positions of great responsibility, embodying the values of excellence and ambition.
During the day, our students had the opportunity to talk to 25 professionals from a wide range of fields, including medicine, fashion, beauty, insurance, banking, publishing, journalism, engineering, diplomacy, artificial intelligence, geophysics, law, the arts, human resources, science, security and marketing.
Professionals shared their experiences, presented the skills required for their professions, and answered numerous questions from students eager to learn about what their workday looks like. These interactive meetings sparked great interest among students. They helped them gain a better understanding of the various opportunities available for their future in a globalized world.
An Enriching and Inspiring Event
This forum was an incredibly enriching experience for both students and professionals, who were delighted to share their expertise. The involvement of parents and the diversity of represented sectors made this event a true success.
Building on the enthusiasm it generated, plans for a second edition are already underway. The goal is to continue providing essential guidance to students as they explore promising career paths.
A big thank you to all participants and organizers for their dedication and enthusiasm!
