New Head of School at EIB de La Jonchère

New Head of School at EIB de La Jonchère

From September 2022, EIB de La Jonchère welcomes a new Head of School, Mr Raymond Hinz.

Raymond Hinz has a strong expertise in education, teachers' training and international school management, having worked at the French International School of Vancouver from 2004 to 2006, the French High School of Kuwait from 2006 to 2007, and the French-American International High School of San Francisco from 2007 to 2012. He is familiar with the special requirements of bilingual education in French and English and has been trained in international school management in Canada and the United States.

From 2012, he continued his career as a national education inspector, including in French Polynesia where he was designated to coordinate priority education for five years. He also has experience as a cooperation attaché at the French Consulate General in Louisiana.

His key role will be to help develop EIB de La Jonchère, in accordance with EIB’s values and mission that is to prepare and guide children to become global citizens of tomorrow’s world. He will be joining our school next September.

"It is a great honour for me to be given this responsibility, and I am looking forward to continuing to build on the academic excellence that has been the hallmark of EIB schools for nearly 70 years," says Raymond Hinz.

He believes that success is based on the enthusiasm and commitment of every EIB staff member, and requires coeducating, sharing with families and involving them in the academic achievements of their child. However, he is convinced success also depends on the quality of school life and school environment where students grow up in.

“In addition to teaching excellence, these are the foundations necessary to support each of our students on their way to autonomy as human beings,” he concludes.

Welcome to Mr Hinz!
