At EIB Monceau, the primary school immersion program is designed to support children in learning French, promoting smooth integration and long-term academic success.
Primarily intended for students who speak little or no French, the program focuses on developing writing, reading, and oral expression skills. Each child follows a personalised pathway, determined after an initial assessment, to best meet their linguistic and academic needs.
The immersion program may last one or two years, depending on the student’s profile. To ensure optimal individual attention, class sizes are kept small, with a maximum of 12 to 16 students. All teachers are certified to teach French as a foreign language (FLE), ensuring high-quality instruction.
The program includes four classes: CP, CE1, CE2-CM1, and CM1-CM2. It stands apart from other immersion programs through its emphasis on linguistic integration and long-term success. For this reason, only families with a genuine plan to remain in France or to pursue extended schooling within a bilingual or French educational system are accepted.
