This October, EIB Grenelle celebrated its long-awaited International Day, a landmark event that transformed the corridors of our school. Students had the opportunity to discover and explore different cultures through a fun and interactive format. Carrying with their passports, they travelled from one country to another, collecting stamps at each stop, symbols of the many discoveries that awaited them.
This year, the students visited a rich diversity of countries, including Italy, Greece, the United States, South Korea, Brazil, India, China, Spain and many others. At each stage of their journey, they discovered the flags and languages of these nations, as well as their culinary specialities, traditions, music and customs.
The aim of the day was to highlight the cultural diversity that is at the heart of our bilingual and international school. At EIB Grenelle, we firmly believe that this diversity is a source of wealth, and that students grow by opening up to other cultures and developing their tolerance and curiosity about the world. By creating spaces for discovery like this one, we enable our students to gain a better understanding of the different realities around them, while cultivating a spirit of tolerance and respect for differences.
These events are an essential part of developing global citizenship. They encourage students to develop intercultural skills, challenge stereotypes and build empathy. International Day actively contributes to their education by raising awareness of the importance of intercultural dialogue and mutual respect.
It is this inclusive and international vision of education that we want to pass on to our students through every activity. EIB Grenelle's International Day is an essential step in this journey, and we are proud to see our students flourish in this multicultural environment. Each stamp in their passport represents not only a country visited, but also a door open to the world, a further step towards tolerance and open-mindedness.
With smiles on their faces and unforgettable memories, our students came away from the day enriched with a new vision of the world, aware that cultural differences are treasures to be celebrated and protected. We look forward to the next edition, so that we can continue this wonderful journey around the globe together.
