Looking back at the EIB Monceau Summer Camp

Looking back at the EIB Monceau Summer Camp

As soon as the summer holidays began, EIB Monceau welcomed students from EIB, as well as children from other schools, for a memorable Summer Camp.

Superheroes and Heroines in the making

From July 10th to 21st, children aged 4 to 10 took part in a wide range of activities to develop their agility, creativity and team spirit. Essential skills for a superhero!

Super Cook

To carry out rescue missions for hours on end, superheroes rely on good food. Thanks to a cooking workshop, Summer Camp participants discovered the skills required to prepare sweet treats. They learned how to weigh ingredients, comply with hygiene standards and share the fruits of their labour with their fellow campers.

Camouflage Mission

In order to blend into their environment and adapt to any situation, superheroes need to master the codes of camouflage. With the help of a face painting workshop, the children were able to give free rein to their creativity. Learning shapes and colours is essential for blending into the landscape and gathering information discreetly.

The Force of a Great Typhoon

Superheroes face all kinds of physical challenges. To help them cope, our heroes-in-the-making took part in an Olympiad. The Parc Monceau was the setting for some exhilarating sporting events that pushed our young recruits to excel and encourage each other.

Successful Infiltration

What differentiates a hero from a superhero is their ability to step into the shoes of all kinds of characters. What better way to prepare our heroes for the field than through acting? By practising public speaking in English and French, and memorisation, children can build their confidence and express themselves assuredly.

Inspired and Inspiring Super Heroes

Throughout the Summer Camp, our young recruits were able to give free rein to their overflowing imaginations. By practising a range of artistic techniques, they developed a strategic mindset and foolproof ingenuity. From creating new costumes for their alter egos, to creating a fresco of the city's rooftops, they were able to plan their next missions as well as possible. So we can rest easy!
