Our bilingual international secondary school in Paris’s 17th arrondissement, EIB Étoile, follows the French curriculum and prepares pupils for the standard French Baccalaureate, with a European specialisation or with the BFI (Baccalauréat Français International), as well as the IB Diploma (International Baccalaureate), depending on the chosen pathway.

Baccalaureate streams

We offer a wide variety of specialisms for the French Baccalaureate from Year 11 onwards. In Year 13, pupils specialise further based on their previous choices.

Pupils may also choose other options:

  • The International French Baccalaureate (BFI) (formerly OIB), British stream, which offers students the opportunity to study English literature, as well as history and geography lessons in English.
  • The European Option in the Baccalaureate, with additional courses taught in English.
  • The International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme from the International Baccalaureate Organization.

In addition to French and English, pupils at our EIB Étoile bilingual international high school can choose to study a selection of different languages from the following:

  • Spanish
  • German
  • Italian
  • Mandarin
