February Camp 2023 - EIB Monceau

We invite you to register your child for our English language workshop at EIB Monceau during the Winter holidays' first week, from February, 20th to 24th, 2023, From 9am to 5pm (doors will open at 8:30am for the daycare).

Age

This workshop is open to all students from 4 to 10/11 years old, from EIB schools and the extended community. The holiday camp will be divided into 3 classes per age group: 4-5 years old / 6-7 years old / 8-10 years old. 

Programme

The program will be supervised by English-speaking EIB teachers and will focus on the theme "Castles and Kings". English classes will be combined each day with one or more fun, artistic and sport activities around this theme. A trip to the Château de Versailles  is planned, a speaker will present the perfumes of another time. Each child will understand the materials used at the time, to make their own perfume; they will all leave with their extract.

On the last day, all children will have a face painting activity.

For children aged 4 to 5 years: 

The week will be based on fairy tales and legends in which kings and/or castles are very present. The children will invent their own fairy tale as a group, which they will illustrate with a small book that they will take home at the end of the week. There will also be arts & crafts activities: crown decoration, collage or painting. 

For children aged 6 to 7: 

Each day will be organised around a monarch from a different country. The children will be able to travel and understand the geography and history of the country they are visiting. 

For children from 8 to 10 years old: 

Each day, the children will study the crowns, the clothes, the castles of France, their gardens and the different festivities of the time. They will learn about the different profiles of kings and queens, their characters, their preferences and their requirements.

The price includes the application fee, language courses, various workshops, staff, activities as well as supplies for workshops and daily meals (lunch and snacks).
